I thought the wings looked good 5 on 5 and were fighting back. Looked worse because of all the ridiculous penalties. My god have they just destroyed hockey.

Didnt the LA kings back in the first cup they won recently? I cant remember. But, other teams in recent years backed in and did alot of damage!

Yeah, some teams have been bottom feeders for years (EDM) and still suck (Lions...oops). I hated seeing Bowman leave our organization. I thought that first cup team the hawks built was the strongest. The one with Bufflyn (sp). Bownman's one of those guys that no matter where he goes championships follow. Ugh. I hate this.

The hawks are definitely one of those teams that I look at and think "geez who is going to knock them off?" Kinda like we looked at the red wings, or how much fear was put into opponents who went up against the wings 10 years ago. Ugh...

Q fell into a great team, either that or he is a great coach who was on a cursed Blues team...

Ya never know... We had Tampa beat...which is annoying, and Bishop beat those guys, why couldn't we have? Anyway, no point arguing what never happened. I would have just liked to see the wings finish off Tampa. WE HAD EM!!!!! Ugh so frustrating. Our team definitely needs more offense. We have speed, youth, some veterans, but we need more skill pure and simple. More skill and more scoring. Resigning cleary at this point is a fireable offense.

That's fine, i'm ok with our stars taking steroids lol. WIN! What's really bothersome is after watching the playoffs play out in the east, the wings should have eliminated Tampa in round 1 and should've at least made it to round 3, if not round 4. The east stunk. I thought Tampa looked much better in round 4 than any previous round. I couldn't believe how they were winning games in rounds 1-3. We had them figured out damnit...

I hate it how commentators like to suck the excitement from fans by telling us who wins the conn smythe before it's announced. The hawks are definitely in the talks for a dynasty. I thought the wings were so good they should be considered a dynasty back in our day. The hawks are so tough to knock off. Face facts, our stars are always beat up come playoff time. Theirs seem to never get injured.

The reason we should have beat Tampa, Babcock. Clearly we had a much better game plan than Montreal does. And they let Stamkos out of the cage...oh boy.

I became a fan in 93 i think, when the wings came back in the series against the north stars down 3 to 1 in the series. 92 or 93...tim cheveldae baby

Yeah and we let them off the hook in game 4. Bishop took 2 penalties and scored on himself, and we let them off the hook...ugh. Imagine if we had won that game. Then there's no Tampa comeback, there's no 'feeling better about ourselves', nothing. We probably win in 6 worst case. Woulda coulda shoulda.

I think we should also give the young forwards a bit more time, but it's 2 playoffs in a row that they haven't done too much. When Datsyuk came on the scene everybody knew he was special. His first game he's in the corner dipsy dooing around the opposition with stick handling nobody has seen before. There's not that level of 'wow' factor out of any of the forwards. They're going to have to get it together next season or I think people are really going to start losing patience. It's fine to be good in the regular season but nobody really cares when it's all said and done what you did in the regular season if you never did anything in the playoffs. I'm bummed. 5 months...

Can we please get some damn offense on this team? WTF It felt like it was impossible to score a goal all series...like we have to only get scrappy goals. Datsyuk was probably playing injured, he's injured this time EVERY year now. Zetterberg, same thing. He's falling off a bit. We need more offense on this team. The defense looks like it's gonna grow and blossom in another year or two. Tatar, you're not Datsyuk dude, quit trying to skate all over the arena and through 3 defenders.Man, this series was here for the wings to take.
