Next game I'd like to see Cleary play over Anderson. Anderson is so slow anyways and at least Cleary hits. We need hitting. I'd also keep pav and hank together with abby and have helm play center. Z-pav-abby Nyquist-helm-tatar Cleary-sheahan-jurco 4th line. I think thoSe lines would be good. If zetty is this bad with pav I don't wanna see him struggle without pav. And zetty will play big at home you watch. tatar and Nyquist played well but shehan hasn't so I'd try helm there and putting shehan with jurco gives us a much better 3rd line.

That's why Howard isn't starting game 3. That was an awful rebound to give as usual. Ericsson continues to be a pylon. My biggest problem is quincy. Dekeyser looks a lot better in the playoffs because he isn't with quincy. Meanwhile zids hasn't looked as good... I swear quincy makes everyone worse that he plays with. I want him to sit. Also we need abby in game 3 really bad. We need to establish a physical game right off the bat. I'm confident with the kids line they looked so much better this game and confident. I also think we have a chance to take stamkos off his game in Detroit like we did toews a couple years ago. He seems to be complaining a lot so the guys gotta get under his skin more so he takes penalties and such.

These refs are pathetic. They just missed holding and interference that was done against sheahan and then call this. The riffing better be much better in Detroit.

We actually have player much better today. Apart from a couple key mistakes, a missed call and a lucky bounce we have played a much better game so the team can build off that going back to the Joe. And the puck can't keep bouncing in Tampas favor

Anyone calling to play Jimmy in game 3 has no understanding of hockey. Petr won us game 1 and had zero chance on the goals tonight. The first one was deflected then hit the post and was a scramble, the 2nd one was a crazy bounce, the 3rd one was a guy all alone and the 4th one was a breakaway after there should have been a penalty. No way is this game Petes fault. If anything you might play Jimmy in the 3rd simply to rest petr for game 3.

I think Dr. Phil needs to make an appearance haha.

Have you been watching this game? They have generated quite a few chances and are skating a lot better. Tampa is getting all the bounces right now.

The ice condition looks like crap. Pav isn't the only player to lose an edge tonight and the puck keeps bouncing a lot.

Tatar actually looks like he has some jump tonight I dunno why everyone is on his case again.

I don't wanna split up pav and hank but the kid line looks off. I rly wish babs would try Weiss at center. jurco-sheahan-tatar Anderson-weiss-Nyquist I think that little change would make both the 2nd and 3rd lines better. Overall the wings are playing a decent road game. It's far from perfect but the team is blocking shots, doing a good job of keeping Tampa to the outside, and helping petr clear any loose pucks and obviously petr looks fantastic. I think the wings got to just start putting everything on net rather than just try to wait for the perfect chance. 1 more period let's go boys! !

Comparing king Henrik to Jimmy is amusing. Henrik gets it done for his team. Jimmy hasn't. The king plays deep in his crease and stops pucks at key times and wins games for his team. Jimmy costs us. Montreal was the last straw and I don't blame babs.

After this game tonight, Babcock and the team have every right to be displeased with Howard. And to top that, going forward they will be even less confident playing in front of Howard because those goals he let in were the difference between us winning and losing. We could be playing Montreal in round 1 and if we play them like we did tonight, I like our chances. But if Howard is in net giving away goals, that effort won't matter. I think Babs should start Petr Saturday to get him ready for the playoffs, no time to give Jimmy a short leash. Give Pete the go. He has been by far the more consistent one and, while he may give up some weak goals, he also wins games more often than not and helps the D out a LOT with his ability to handle the puck. Judging by Babs' comments tonight I think this is the case.

Jimmy let in 3 really bad goals tonight.

Babs whines for 2 seasons about wanting a right hander for the PP and then he plays 2 lefts on the first pp unit and 2 rights on the 2nd pp unit And man our bottom 2 lines suck!! I am sick of the dekeyser quincy pairing. They are so bad at moving the puck it's not even funny. Quincy gives a 100 mile an hour pass to a teammate right in front of him for crying out loud. I can't believe how Danny D has looked so average the last half. I think quincy has had a bad impact on him. I'd rather see oulette play with Danny d

We used to rest guys all the time before playoffs. Why play guys when they could get injured and damage your playoffs chances, One thing in our favour in that game is I believe King Henrik is playing, and he has been getting better and better as he is finding his game to be ready for the playoffs.

Not if it finally gets Z going. Z looks very slow out there and has no shooting confidence. For us to be successful, Z has got to get going. That means we risk splitting up Dats and Tats with the expectation that Tats will continue his thing down on the kid line. The team needs new energy and this line change is the thing.

What is it gonna take to put pav and hank together ?! These lines have zero flow!!!

Hank looks really slow!! Why can't babs put him on the wing with pav and just put the kid line back together to create momentum and maybe get zetty going.

just go away If all you are going to do is make invalid points about our main stars who by the way are all doing their jobs. The only point I agree with you on is Howard. He has consistently proved unreliable but all the others you are complaining about is wrong.
