Why not use Sheahan, Jurco, Kronners, Smith? Give them a try since no one besides Pav can score?! Better yet how about the NHL brings in that 3 on 3 so we don't have many shootouts because shootouts are so STUPID! You can't win a shootout when your goalie lets in at least two goals each time and you only have one player that can score. At least we got a point, but Babcock has GOT to change the lines!!! Hank has looked terrible for about 10 games now, Goose isn't getting anything done either. Load up the big boys and let the kids play together to see if it creates energy! It is painful to watch Z playing like this. He has got to be hurt.

How off does Z have to be for babs to change that line?!

These refs are a joke!!! How does the team who draws the most penalties get ONE against COLUMBUS?!?! In this perioud alone Columbus has gotten away with 3 clear penelties. What a joke.

WHy doesn't Babs change the lines? Mix things up since there seems to be no flow? Put Zetty with Pav already!! We need some new energy.

Kronners- Green Dekeyser- Smith Quincy- Ericsson

Kronwall is VERY underrated by some of Red Wings fans. He is not Nick Lidstrom, but he is still a good, reliable number 1 and, more than that, is a good leader for this team. I would take Kronners over Yandle any day of the week. The wings will never make that trade proposed and would only tradde the likes of those guys if they were getting Shea Weber. So don't worry about that. If anything, I think a trade for Mike Green would be best for us. We would not give up nearly as much and would be adding a solid offensive dman to our team and who is right handed shot. That could go a long way to determine the extent of our playoff success.

Terrible game. Terrible. No effort at all. - Zetterberg finally looked like himself at the end there once he got put with Pav, so keep that together going forward - BENCH FRANZEN! The guy does absolutely nothing for this team and he def does not deserve to get put on a line with our best two players. - What does Babs have against Smith?! We pull our goalie and Babs puts Oulette out with Kronners instead of Smith! I just don't get it. I am not worried about the team, those comparing them to trends of last year are silly. Unless Pav and Hank miss most of the season again from now until the end of the season, you cannot make a comparison to last year. The Wings will be fine, they just gotta regroup every team goes through this and this is the first time for us this season so relax.

Why the hell isn't Babs changing up the lines ?! Good god he is hard headed sometimes! Change up the lines to get some new energy already

They are on a hot streak because their top line is playing well. But, like always, as soon as that line goes into a rut, so too will the team. Look at last year, they were hot for a while then March hit and they were awful, so the team could not win. The biggest difference and the biggest reason why our team is much better than the Leafs is because our top players consistently get the job done when it all comes down to it.

What an awful game. First of all, the officiating was pathetic. Phantom calls against us and yet our goalie can get run over, Helm can get hooked to the ice and the clear missed hook on Tatar that leads to the goal against us. I cannot stand the officiating in this league. Now having said that, the wings look AWFUL! Time for Babcock to end the Nyquist and Zetterberg experiment it has not been effective for about 10 games now. Zetty looks so slow out there put him with Pav already to spark some much needed energy. I still say Babs changes the lines and the boys come out with a better effort and take this game. Wwe are far better than the Leafs.

I am thinking if we start out flat tonight then we need to re-unite Pav and Hank to get things going. The leafs can't contain them together at all and that could spark some new energy to the team.

What an awful game. Just flat out awful. Our D were AWFUL at outlet passes tonight and that just threw our game off. Please someone tell me WHY KINDL IS STILL ON THIS TEAM?!?!?! Franzen invisible again tonight, at least zetty looked a lot better i thought. Florida got a LOT of puck luck tonight. The puck always seemed to bounce towards their sticks and such. The Refs were awful. Florida got away with a lot of interferene and holding, a clear high stick on zetty, a hook on helm while he was in all alone. All in all, it was just an awful game and I will happily take the 1 point and hopefully the wings go into toronto tomorrow night and destroy them. Also, Jimmy needs to be taken out for shootouts. He just can't make saves and players are scoring on him too easily.

Hopefully Wings come out and get a large lead early to allow Babs to really lessen the ice time of key players so we are well prepared to take it to the Laughs again tomorrow night too. LETS GO WINGS!

I thought this was one of the best games we played. In a playoffs series if we play like that against the leafs they cannot compete with us and I truly believe we are a much better team than they are. The shootout sucks and jimmy sucks at the shootout but our forwards also suck at scoring on breakaways. They are trying too hard gotta keep it simple like pav did last night. The way the wings played reminded me of 2007-2009 teams we had. When we lost, a lot of the time we actually outplayed the other team and deserved the win. I love this years team and am not worried at all.

This. I say we bench Franzen. I am sick of his lazy effort and every line he plays on seems to slow down. Since getting away from Hank, Hank looks sharper. Now since being put with Weiss, Weiss has slowed down. Franzen is not competing so bench him.

Watch zetty destroy the leafs tomorrow night haha! Honestly he is fine. Babs is spreading out minutes to conserve energy and balance our attack and its working. I have no doubt that when we need Hank, he will get the job done for us.

Some notes from the game: - Pav and Tats and Helm have formed a really good line with lots of speed and tons of energy. Creating something every shift - Z and Nyquist seemed to show some more energy when Jurco went on their line in the place of Franzen - Weiss continues to play well - I am still wondering why on Earth Kindl is on this team and worse, somehow continues to get PP time over Smith - Jimmy seemed off for most of the 1st period but really got into the zone after that - Just an all around gritty win. Mick said it best at the end of the game... good teams find a way to win these types of games and the Red Wings have been consistently doing that all season so far. I really like what I am seeing from this team.

Howard looks out of position far too much tonight. Hank's line looks so slow again. Maybe switch Jurco and Franzen

The officiating in this league is disgusting. How do you miss that high stick on helm and the trip on him? Those two calls are such easy calls that a 5 year old could make them. The ref was right there and there is no reason those were missed.... One of them led to us getting scored on. I think when refs miss easy obvious calls like that they should be fined becusse I am sick of it. Anyway, zetty looks so slow out there its painful to watch. I think he's been playing with franzen too much lately. Goose is the only one on that line that has any energy. All the other lines are competing. On D I am still trying to figure out why kindl is on this team. Hopefully the wings tighten up a bit and seal it in the 3rd.

What an AWFUL period! I hate watching games against the Devils they are SO BORING. Their team style is boring, their fans are boring and even their arena is boring! The Wings played really bad and had no energy in the 1st. Time for Babs to put the Euro Twins together because Hank has looked far too slow and it isn't working with Goose anymore. Z- Pav- Abby Franzen- Weiss- Nyquist Jurco- Sheahan- tatar Glendening- Helm- Miller I think that will give us the best forward lines and create some energy .

Awful 3rd period by the Wings. No effort from anyone but tatar, helm, jurco. Goose had a really bad game. In fact that entire line had a really bad game, Hank included. The nice thing is that those guys are professionals and they will be the first to admit it and Hank especially will be bringing it sooner than later. The passing was AWFUL tonight, best get that straightened out . Hopefully Pav is back Monday and I would play Weiss too. I can't wait for Pav to be back because Hank needs someone to play with. I don't know what it is about Goose but I find he is invisible in road games and plays ten times better at home games. He needs to have the same energy on the road as well.

Too many penalties. We were the better team 5 on 5 and can't take stupid penalties like the ones Franzen took. In saying that, the Leafs got away with some penalties that period so the refs owe us some. Wings look like they are skating so I am optimistic. Something tells me Hank is going to get a goal tonight.

Figured Pav would sit out tonight. We don't want him to injure himself and be out like he was last season so I say give him today and Thursday off so he ready for Toronto.
