What I like about Anaheim is that when my Boys the Detroit Red Wings are in the playoffs, it gives me another few chances to see them in the playoffs and bring you OZZIE! Let's go RED WINGS chants during the game because we still know how to represent out here for the WINGS!!!!

WoW that's awful ... stuff like this makes me sad. I'm glad you got home safely. And if you need a new ducks towel let me know. I can mail you one I got the other night. I know the violence is on both sides. I also thought it important that you knew we weren't singling either side out.

I was there tonight as well. It seemed a LOT milder tonight than it did Tuesday night. A lot of the ducks fans left well before the end of the game and for sure after Z's EN... It was a nice walk out aside from the guy behind me mumbling something about "half these people haven't even ever been to Detroit... " I nearly turned around to correct him but I decided he didn't need to know that I'd been several times before and even was at Yzerman's Retirement Ceremony... eh! Scoreboard was what counted tonight and they knew it.

She and I have known each other since we were in elementary school and the man in the pictures with her is her dad. We were yelling at each other (jokingly of course "Let's go RED WINGS then her Let's go DUCKS") we did this for awhile and the man between us looked at us both and I said we've known each other a LONG time.. .LOL Enjoy!!! I'm so happy we could provide a win for the boys tonight! We were loud and proud tonight as you could probably hear!!

Honestly, I love hockey. I can't even begin to explain how much. The thought of skipping a game because of fear, because of not supporting my team or wearing my team colors it seems so absurd. We're all human beings. Hockey is a very emotionally charged sport but I also think sometimes people when they put on their jersey of choice forget that. I don't want any single person to ever have to be afraid to attend a game or to NOT wear their team colors to a hockey game no matter where it is. I do not think that fan violence is a good thing - ever. I personally would like to make a difference in it so if you've had a bad experience and we've had a bad experience - it's time to finally step up and do something about it. Report it. I was informed that 9 incidences happened on Ponda property on Tuesday night. NINE... that's a horrifying number. Duckaroosky - you're welcome here. All we want to do is talk hockey with other level headed people

Wow I was LOUD tonight - we had a few wings fans around us and AndyinSDCA and FUUFNF were in the sections on either side of us! It was FREAKING AWESOME!! I have no flipping voice. WHAT A GAME! I am so happy! It was so much fun!!!

I know DG. It sucks. I hate that it even happens. WE should all be able to enjoy it and have fun.

I spoke with someone at the Ponda. This goes for WINGS OR DUCKS FANS: See APD security or police officer and ask to be escorted to your car. They will do this. Your safety is important. See the Fan desk (it faces Katella) if you need to speak with someone on the Ducks Staff. I also spoke with a writer for the OC Register and anyone who is willing to share their experience with the writer it'd be greatly appreciated. No one should ever feel threatened by going to an event like this - EVER... Duckaroosky I do not believe anyone has said that you deserved to have anything done to you. All of our main concern is we are ALL SAFE regardless of which team we're cheering for. Something needs to be done about situations like this.

Yeah that guy was a moron. I loved how he was all ripped and yelling and getting in the faces of the wings fans who weren't saying a word to him. I was like OMG he's going to crawl on the bench! Lars - truthfully I believe a sporting event should be safe for everyone - period. No stereotypes, no "groups" no nothing. Flat out - no violence. I think it's ridiculous that any fans start crap with other fans. Both sides had issues period. The issue is violence amongst the fans. It shouldn't be happening and that's really the issue at hand here.

I truthfully don't believe any of us were saying our fans were any more innocent than ducks fans or any other fans for that matter. I think the issue here is violence at sporting events and people's safety. It's a shame that anyone has to act this way. I don't condone it AT ALL by anyone. It's horrifying to me to know this stuff goes on. This should not be a deciding factor in whether you attend a sporting event. I mean really.

Hail - that's what I wish for too.. Just to go and enjoy a game that I forked out hundreds of bucks to go to and get to my car safely without being threatened, grabbed etc for being an opposing teams fan. I am respectful of the people around me regardless of their team. It's disappointing that anyone needs to hurt anyone else for something so utterly foolish. And I'm sorry that anyone approached you like that - it's WRONG..

I don't know if this will make anyone feel any better but I got an email from a close friend who happens to be a season ticket holder at the ponda asking me if I made it to my car safely without incident last night. Sadly I couldn't say I had. I explained what had happened to me, then as well all these other incidences that have popped up here on LGW... she's forwarded my descriptions on to her contact at the Ponda requesting that something be done to protect people and their safety when parties are leaving the ponda property etc. Hopefully it'll make a difference....
