It's that time again RWNW!!! I need to know who will be joining us at JT Schmid's before the game here's the sticky part - Game time is at 7:00 (preskate is around 6:30-6:45). I will need to know before Tuesday the 17th at 5pm so I can make the reservations accordingly. If you can't meet us at the bar - meet down on the ice around 6:30-6:45 for the preskate!!! I hate these midweek games - they mess everything up. I'm glad that the games in January are BOTH on a weekend (6th and 7th). I am not going to be able to make Monday's game at the Staples center.

January Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th (kings/ducks) I believe in that order.

A little birdie must've told you I was going to be in town! LOL I'll be arriving either the 29th or the 30th of December and leaving the 3rd of January. I have no idea yet where I'm staying and a lot of what I'm doing may be based on that. My brother in law is coming with me as well (he's a great partyer). He's also got family in Michigan. I'm attempting to get tickets to the New Years Eve game as well. I also heard Tidysteve is going to be flying in for the 12/31 and 1/2 games as well. Anyway, I'm really excited! Maybe Matt wants to host a New Years Eve party Mark your calendars it's invasion of the RGDT!!! Edit: Also, if you are attending the January 2nd game maybe we can all meet up somewhere in Greektown prior to going over to the game and ceremony? Your Thoughts?

I'll be in Michigan for the 12/31 and 1/2 games and then if you're going to be in LA and Anaheim for the other two games on the 6th and 7th I believe I'll be at those as well as probably all of Red Wings Nation West. You can count on there being meetings before each of the Kings/Ducks games in California.

August 14, 2006 Update - I need to postpone this event. I am having lasik surgery on Tuesday ,August 22nd and I've got a few other things going on that need to be taken care of. I apologize for the inconvenience but I think September or October will be better timing for this event. Hey RWNW...thought maybe we'd all get together on Saturday, August 19, 2006 to celebrate Yzerman's career. I've got a pool so you're more than welcome to bring your bikini and shorts to swim. There will of COURSE be food Can I get a shout from those of you who would like to participate? Also, is this a good day? Menu is still to be determined Good food, good hockey talk, good sun, What more could you ask for? Yes, TheWestWing it's over a month away! I just figured that the 19th would be so apropos for a retirement party. Well given that is the exact date October 5, 2006 of his 23 year anniversary of the first NHL game he ever played in..they might..It holds unique significance to Yzerman. Who knows - it'll all depend on the Yzerman Ceremony when I'm there this season.

If they retire Yzerman's jersey on the 5th of October..I may be in town for the 7th HQ event if that's when you guys do it.
