You can't really compare what the Sens are going through with whats happening with the Ducks. I mean the Sens have lost many key players due to injuries which explains their slide ; Ducks are adding key players and are flailing which explains _ _ _ ????

I think, after viewing that commerical about 57 zillion times, that I know the details even better than Sittler himself, including what he ate (because he was busy running errands that day, dontcha know and he did not have time for his usual pregame pasta and steak) and the name of the team statistician as well. The desk the analysts sit at looks like something left over from the Starship Enterprise. You don't HAVE to sport a crew-cut to sit at the above mentioned weird desk, but it couldn't hurt. No matter how bad the Blackhawks play, there will always be a positive spin put on them. No matter how good the Leafs play, there will always be a negative spin put on them. Any sentence starting with "what else can possibly be said about _____" will go on and on and on. Chris Drury and/or Jaromir Jagr and/or Scott Gomez are always a "disappointment who needs to step up". But Crosby always "puts on a clinic". And the most important thing I have learned from way too many hours of NHL Network? Darryl Sittler ate chicken and fries before his record setting game. (and don't you dare suggest I quit watching... I am admitting I am an addict and powerless over the lure of that shiny silver desk)

You are killing me here. Would I enjoy seeing Fedorov come back to Detroit to finish out his career? Of course. BUT , as much as I love him and am his biggest fan, I have to vote no on retiring his number. Retiring numbers should be an extraordinary thing and rarely done or it will eventually mean nothing.

I have heard them all on Centre Ice and Ken is not so bad in comparison. My only complaint is that he is so anal about where everyone is from. If I hear "and passes to his fellow countryman..." or "tries to score on his fellow Swede" one more time I may have to rip off my ears. Its almost like he is obsessed with ethnicity. I bet he has a thoroughbred dog!! (and of course Mickey rules!!)

I don't dislike Crosby, theres not much to dislike that I have seen/heard. He is a good ambassador for the game and we always need someone to bring some positive attention (or hell , ANY attention at all) to the sport. I just wish he was referred to as "ONE OF" the future faces of hockey instead of "THE" all the time. And I agree with whomever said that Ovechkin is more fun!!
