And you know what? You men can WASH your beards and make them all fresh, shiny and clean smelling. Not only were my bracelets faded and ratty after all that time last season but they smelled musty and foul after getting wet everyday in the shower then drying then wet again etc. After awhile I was dousing them in perfume. Not a complaint ~ just an observation The main thing is that we do our part and have fun. I love the bracelet tradition and was excited to put the first red one on last night!! GO BEARDS, GO BRACELETS, GO WINGS!!

But today Pavel and Hossa amaze everyone, Sammy breaks a few of Masons ribs by shooting straight to his chest, Ozzie causes LGW posters to gasp for breath a few times, Draper wins all his face-offs, and everytime the cameras show a close-up of Babcock he looks constipated. oh wait.....

Seems we mostly think alike. Hossa - he is so much fun to watch. We are so lucky. Hudler - he is becoming a force to be reckoned with right in front of our eyes. The Winter Classic - outdoor games are always fun but this one was the complete package since Detroit was playing.

Amazing is right. I never get tired of watching him play.

He's a good player; but not the best by far. He's an okay captain; but whines way too much to garner respect. He seems like a good enough guy; but his personality (?) never comes through in interviews .. he spouts the usual BS, never says anything interesting/hilarious a la Ovechkin, Roenick, Datsyuk. But in the meantime, I do get sick of hearing about him. Is it his fault? Maybe not. But he could do something to actually earn the attention. Like grow up, grow some balls. So, until Sid the Kid becomes Sid the man ... grandma said it best. (see signature)

Just watched that game myself. I love Ovechkin. Not just the (obvious) talent but his love of the game and the enthusiasm he brings to the ice every shift. He is amazing to watch and a real asset to his team, the league and the game.

But then again I can't help but laugh at the thought of Datsyuk showing up at the events all stoned on painkillers, stumbling around, breaking things, saying hilarious stuff, cussing out Bettman in his 'Russ-english'....

QFT! Also I have a good friend who is a Pens fan (I know , I know.. dropped on his head as a child I assume) and he says that even the biggest Therrien supporters are ready for him to get the axe asap. I am thinking more than a few of the players are feeling the same way.
