A Stuart comparison is what we hope for in regards to Lashoff but a more valid comparison right now is Kyle Quincey. Lashoff is very much an all-around defenseman right now who definitely has his work cut out for him if he ever wants to play in the NHL.

I've been wondering that myself. Who knows? I'm pretty excited for Coetzee. I'm just worried that the Griffins have too many undersized scorers. Coetzee, Tatar and Pare are 5'10. Mursak is 5'11. The Griffins need some serious size for their team next year.

I hope the Hawks winning really infuses some emotion within our Red Wings. They know deep down that if they were near 100% physically and emotionally that they could've definitely beaten those Hawks in a seven game series. Now they just gotta prove it next year.
