Did Pronger go for Stevie's knee? From what I remember he just tried to shoulder him above the waist. Besides, he ended up hurting his own knee. It was funny. And his team didn't end up winning the series.

Yeah I know, right. It felt really weird to post that but he's out of the West now and we don't have to deal with him that much. 2007 is still the series where I felt the most anger towards him. Not 1996, 1997, 1998, 2002 or 2009. Although 2009 is awfully close. What about you guys? Did I miss any there?

Pronger doesn't bug me as much as he used to. Probably because he's in the east and Lidstrom still has more cups and Norris trophies.

The Wings do prioritize skill over size/toughness but if they can have both then they'll surely jump at the chance. But every team wants those guys. They get picked very early. Then you're left with players that have skill but not so much size or size but not so much skill. A lot of people on here prefer the latter but the Wings prefer the former. If the Wings have a chance to get both then they'll go for it. I'm sure they'd absolutely love to draft a guy who some on here say has shown flashes of Chris Pronger, if the Wings agree with that assessment.

I think Bert will be good (perhaps rarely great) on any line as long as he realizes that no matter what line he's on, he has to screen the goaltender, bang in rebounds and retrieve loose pucks. Again, a GOOD fit, but rarely great.
