Game 7 on the road... Kind of a similar setup isn't it? Yeesh. Wish there was something I could do so that Lidstrom won't retire. Like a Native American rain dance or something to appease the hockey Gods.

I hope you're wrong too. But I suspected that he already made the decision to retire and use this season as confirmation that he made the right choice. Oh man. That's gotta suck for the locker room atmosphere.

Didn't the Wings have to kill a lot of penalties? Maybe that's why.

Ok, so. For any possible playoff game in the future I hope the Wings play their rope a dope game where they simply absorb the opponent's best hit and then play the aggressor when it's right. Starting on time... It's just not them I guess.

You know what's funny? The Wings actually started on time today. Hell I'll take a slow start if it's just the way the Wings win. Maybe there is a method to that madness.

But they supposedly changed it up towards the end of the regular season by staying in the city after the game and taking the flight the next day. I'm pretty sure that after they made a big deal about it they won the next game. They did the same after Game 5. Hopefully they'll win this one!
