Well, he tends to get a lot of bashing here. I'm still not exactly sure what he does. Yeah, he's the coach of the defensemen, but what does that really mean? It seems like he just runs drills in practice. He "runs" the defense but I think it's mostly Babs.

Yeah I think he tried out for the Red Wings around 2002 and didn't make it. Something like that. He at least played a lot of games with the prospect team (with Zetterberg as a teammate but not linemate iirc) and produced decent numbers but obviously not enough to make an impression on the Wings.

Actually he's being used a scorer/power forward quite a bit. 10 games, 2 goals, 3 assists, 32 PIM.

Is that even possible though? Well not so much possible but is it likely? Even though it didn't show last night it seems as if whichever scoring line got to play with Lidstrom and Rafalski is the line that would be able to produce. For some reason Kronner and Stewie don't have that same impact.

At the same time you gotta like the way Bertuzzi provides a net-front presence. He's a lot harder to move away from the net than Cleary. In that way, Bert's been able to create a lot of space for Z and Fil.
