Why can't both Pavel and Z dominate on separate lines? Is that even possible? To have both of those lines have a performance of that magnitude?

Agreed. Everybody has to sell the game of hockey with the way its status is in the US. Therefore everyone has to name drop him so that it sticks in people's minds. Not saying I agree, that's just the way it is. Stevie is not immune to that world.

I don't know about anyone else but I want Lils to stay for at least next year. He's such a stabilizing force on that third pair. I feel like that is a must. However, I also think Ericsson and Kindl should play consistent minutes/games. You don't want to trade away prospects like them but at the same time it isn't doing them any good if they're just rotting away in the press box. I wouldn't be all that surprised if the Wings traded one of them.

I don't remember him having such a wide variety of verbs during the mid to late nineties ('95 Finals, or in general the NHL on Fox with cartoon robots era). Then again at that age I didn't really notice those kind of details.
