The one thing I did like about Sweden's play was that they really had the puck on a string at times. It was the first game I've seen these Olympics where a team possessed the puck really smoothly. And of course, it had to be Denis LaRue that gave Zetterberg the retaliatory penalty. LaRue is still an ass, even if that was the right call. Can't really watch a game by Sweden without giving my two cents on what the lines should be. The Zetterberg line looks like a disaster to me. You have an old Forsberg, a struggling Zetterberg and a seemingly way over his head Hornqvist.

I'm not sure how much verbal language ability has to do with his humor. He's just funny. He thinks in pictures like a true comedian. For example: "Pavel how do you describe your golf game?" "A lot of lost balls." "You got a name for that signature move on yours?" (The move he pulled on Turco, Vokoun and Harding). "Name?" "Yes, name." "...Goal." He just has a way with language sometimes and uses words in a way that many people don't even consider and would rather just give a more typical answer.

It might be that I'm not just annoyed with Crosby (although, he is pretty annoying all by himself), but maybe annoyed with the marketing philosophy and "scientific" aspects of business. Or whatever that whole mess is called. Someone mentioned earlier that the NBA used Jordan to expand domestically and then as time went on they used Kobe to expand more internationally. My impression is that there's a reason why they do it that way and it's simply because it works. If that's true, and everything is that simple, then I don't know about anyone else but I don't like how that's the way it works.

At this point I'd just like to see them try someone on that line that's a puck-hound, Holmstrom-type. Russia doesn't really have anyone on their team like that though. But Radulov is playing a way I don't remember ever seeing him play when he was a Predator. He's taking hits, giving hits, playing in traffic, creating space for his teammates. That might help the Datsyuk line.
