What if Franzen played the point on the 2nd unit? You have Kronwall in his usual spot. Franzen on the other side in shooting position. Hudler in his usual spot, the half wall. Cleary/Bertuzzi at the net. Eaves circling the faceoff dot or in position on the other side for one timers.

Well yeah I could have a similar set up too but I guess I'm just one of those people that likes to be in a game mode or something.

Wasn't the way Eaves scored that goal pretty much the only way Samuelsson was ever able to score on the PP? I mean, he was supposed to man the point but I recall most of his PP goals came from moving in.

I don't see why they can't just shift Draper to center for a little bit. I mean Franzen-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Bertuzzi-Helm-Hudler Tatar-Abdelkader-Eaves Miller-Draper-Mursak Looks a whole lot better than using Franzen at center.

Ozzie is at least out for tonight's game against VAN. He had groin problems earlier this season as well. If he were to have the surgery, how long would he be out for?
