2010 Winter Olympics - United States vs Switzerland

I feel like the Swiss team's lack of elite skating ability will really hurt them as the game goes on.

    #19 on Team Canada

That reminds me of the rumor as to why Mrs. Pronger really wanted out of Edmonton. Oh Pronger and his infidelity.

The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Thread

I'm not sure how Team Sweden likes to go about with their defense pairs. All eight of those guys can hold their own defensively. They'll count on Lidstrom, Kronwall, Enstrom and Johansson for offense while Ohlund, Murray, Oduya and Tallinder are more like defensive defensemen. Lidstrom-Murray Kronwall-Ohlund (Boom!) Enstrom-Oduya Johansson-Tallinder They'll probably want Johansson to play the right point on one of the PP units though.

Who will you support at the Olympics?

If anything it will be interesting to see how Filppula will play with top-line minutes and responsibilities as well with talented teammates on a consistent basis. I'm a big fan of his so I'll be watching him closely. One way or another my opinion of his abilities will change after the tournament. I hope it does in a good way.

Well damn, that sucks. Stupid me. I was hoping that was a groin injury update. MJ as in Michael Jordan eh? You know, that's not exactly an all-encompassing compliment as Jordan is still quite the scumbag but it's a side that the general public doesn't care to acknowledge.

According to Bob McKenzie, Team Russia practices with these five man units: Kovalchuk-Malkin-Afinogenov Tyutin-Gonchar Ovechkin-Datsyuk-Semin Grebeshkov-Korneyev Fedorov-Kozlov-Radulov Kalinin-Volchenkov Zaripov-Zinovyev-Morozov Markov-Nikulin
