It's creepy to see Babs so happy around that. I loved Zetterberg's expression when they were there. Pretty much, "I really don't want to be here." Who knows exactly why but he was in no mood to put on a presentation.

Lils did make some pretty memorable giveaways, would trip at the most inopportune times and just flat out look uncomfortable with the puck but I seriously don't remember that happening all too often throughout the course of his minutes per game. He was still defensively solid.

Maybe it doesn't have to be for a player. Maybe they can trade for a prospect that a pure toughness team like Philly or whatever who gambled on a skill guy in the later rounds but no longer wants. Then again, why would they want anything the Wings have to get rid of. Ah well, you get my point, maybe a skilled prospect that doesn't thrive in one system that the Wings are willing to take a risk on. I shall do a little research and come up with some ideas for later.

I've been thinking about it but I just don't know mostly because I mean... Who would actually want what the Wings are trying to get rid of? First of all, someone who in their minds has a useless 2 million expiring cap hit that the Wings could use.

Let's say you go through a contract where you're underpaid for years and then receive a contract where you're considered to be overpaid for years. Is it fair in that it should balance out that way or no?

Not quite Helm 2:31 Eaves 2:16 Miller 1:53 Maltby 1:45 Zetterberg 1:18 Cleary 1:16 Filppula 1:06 Datsyuk 1:03 Franzen 0:39 Draper 0:38 Draper only plays on the PK to take the faceoff and then some more if he loses the faceoff. If he wins it he goes right back to the bench.

I'm watching the tournament. In the summertime I was more excited about the Olympics than this whole season. The one game I know I won't forget to DVR is Russia versus Sweden. Plus if it's true that Filppula will play on the first line for Team Finland then I might as well keep an eye on him.
