Sure it's possible that they're wrong but I haven't seen anything from you that shows you're less wrong than they are. You watch them on TV while they see them in person every day and can give a good evaluation of what they can do on a consistent basis. They're trained to look for the subtleties and intangibles in the game of hockey at the NHL level; things that most internet geeks don't notice.

There's also Kronwall. He played with Nick for fairly significant periods of time. Last year for one when Kronwall really struggled and needed a boost to his game. And didn't the Wings have a "Swedish Five" with Nick and Nik on the back end?

The Sharks haven't beaten the Wings yet this year iirc. They should be more than ready for the Wings. I expect a really tough game and I'll actually be really happy is they just get a point.

As of today I'm hesitant to say that either is a first line scorer but I'm very excited for both Mursak and Tatar. What center would go well with them?

My friends from Pittsburgh all tell me the same thing, "It's all we got." That's no excuse but it's still kind of sad. Now that Ohio has LeBron they're starting to exhibit some of the same moronic symptoms.

He really didn't start to look bad until he had to play with Lebda. I'm not sure why that is specifically but I'm guessing that generally speaking he simply doesn't play to his ability.

Last year the Franzen-Datsyuk-Holmstrom line was, I think according to TSN, the best line the Red Wings had all year long. It's the line that Babs started with this year. He'll probably go back to it.

We'll really get a good picture of Fil's ability during the olympics. I think someone here or HF or RWC posted an article in Finnish that projected him to be on the first line at left wing.
