Yeah, something like 1.5-1.8 mil over the cap or whatever. I'm going to try and find that and then edit this post. EDIT: Shoot... I'm wrong. Now I'm confused. I mean, I would think that with Franzen and Lilja, pretty much everybody, back and playing that you would just add 1.25 mil to the 1.5 mil.

Anyone think that the Wings might somehow acquire a solid veteran 4th line center? I mean, -11 in 20 games for Abdelkader isn't... That's just not good no matter how you look at it. If they keep Pav and Z together (which they probably won't everything considered) then I would think Abdelkader is your 4th line center but maybe he needs more time in GR. -

Well, Dom started in 08 when Ozzie had the better regular season. Ozzie started in 09 when Conklin had the better regular season. The playoffs are a different game and atmosphere and the Wings seem to prefer the player with the pedigree to start. Who knows though? If they make the playoffs then they might just follow a similar strategy to 96 I think it was where some games they pretty much kept Ozzie and Vernie guessing. -
Barry Bonds, Matt Cooke, Hines Ward... I want the children of this generation to be just like them. They play their game the way it's supposed to be played, not cheap or dirty at all.

Last night he was the #1 star with 46 saves on 48 shots. He's also 5th in league save percentage among goaltenders as of this moment.

Well, when it comes to Williams, I just feel like we've seen this guy before every once in a while only to see him float around and not go to the net enough for a significant period of games. When it comes to Filppula, I really don't consider myself a huge fan. I just expect different things from him than you do and that's fine. I'm okay with the fact that you and I will never ever see eye to eye on his production. -
