Well hey, at least George Malik thinks/hopes/it appears to him that Kronwall only has a sprain and out for a couple of weeks. Granted he likely doesn't know all that much about knee injuries but at least someone's optimistic.

Babs sure likes his players with size.

Don't waste your time and energy on that one. I'd rather sacrifice Brett Lebda to the Hockey Gods for Kronwall's health.

Any updates on Kronwall yet? Oh man.

If a player doesn't work hard enough, they simply aren't allowed to wear the Wings jersey. Last year his role was just to come in, play his game and score some goals. This year, he has Babcock's comments of, "He's got a long way to go to be the type of two-way guy I expect him to be" constantly hanging over his head as he embarks on the path to become the next Filppula-Datsyuk-Zetterberg. He has to worry a lot more about his defensive game that of course overall he's going to struggle with as he learns to put it all together. It's going to take time. It's just like what happened to Abdelkader early on, "Abby's one of these kids that's really a conscientious, hard-working guy. He's going to be a great player in this league because he's a thick guy, he hunts you down, he's physical. But until the game in Calgary (Oct. 31), I never saw him skate. He's so busy thinking about where to go, he never skated."

Well I still blame Willy. Even if he is injured.

I feel that way too but at the same time, isn't Bert in a similar category as Homer as in any effectiveness of his will only come out if he plays a top-six role? They shouldn't really mess with the third line and I can't really see him on the 4th line.

Val Filppula 2K10 is probably my favorite addition. But he's injured now and so we'll never know how good he could've been. Among that list though, it's been fun to watch the Helm-Eaves pairing. When I watch them skate out there I have Mickey Goldmill's voice in my head chanting from Rocky II, "Faster!... FASTER!!!... Speed... SPEED!!... SPEEEEEED!!!!"
