Well damn. It seems like you get off on energy, which is okay, but what about his positioning, getting pucks to the net, etc. He's supposed to be a really smart player in the offensive end. When you play a game with smarts, you sometimes don't appear as if you're expending much energy, at least physically, but rather mentally.

Probably because of LGW. The Miley Cyrus advertisement told me that Jiri Hudler will be a first ballot hall of famer. The dusty floppy disk also told me that one dimensional enforcers will always be a part of the game. Although, maybe I'm not psychotic. My brain selected Miley Cyrus, a temporary, latest fashion poppy sensation and floppy disks, which are getting thrown out like no other. Those analogies are way too rational.

I see that Raedeke got the EN goal with Pare and Emmerton as assists. That means the line to close out the game was something like Raedeke-Emmerton-Pare. I understand Raedeke and Emmerton but Pare? I thought he was too slow to keep up? Why put someone who's not a good skater out in the final moments? Gasp... Is it because he shoots right handed??? -

Max Nicastro is a guy I have some high hopes for. Don't know if he's #1 in my mind though. My fear for him is that he just ends up like Jamie Pushor. He's not on the roster probably because BU has started classes already. I also would like to keep an eye on Mursak. This year is a pretty big one for him. -
He'll have a big year for someone playing third line minutes.

Draft picks for the Red Wings take too long. How about a free agent? Any Finnish free agents? Preferably one willing to provide a net front presence? Although, Holmstrom is half Finnish right? A line of Leino-Fil-Homer will be slow as all hell but it's as close as we'll get this year. But an all-Finnish line, Vittu juu!

Not really the same. What exactly is Pittsburgh famous for? Fried Zucchini Strips? Detroit more widely known around the world because of things like the auto industry (whether it's good or bad it still resides in Detroit) and other things like Motown music, even if it did move to LA, its fundamentals were born in Detroit. Sure today the outlook isn't so great but there is no way Detroit is as worthless as Pittsburgh. Not even close. -
