Not sure. My stereotypical thinking tells me that Almqvist has obvious talent and therefore he thinks he's beyond the AHL. I suppose it's true that Kronwall didn't mind the AHL. Ericsson and Ritola didn't either but they had no choice but to play there.

PK TOI. I was actually a little surprised he won it last year because he wasn't as significant for the PK as he had been for his first two Selkes. This year once again he's not killing penalties as much as you'd expect from a Selke trophy winner. Maybe they're changing the standard or something because before Pav starting winning Selkes the previous winners were either at the top or near the top in terms of PK TOI amongst their team's forwards. Pav is usually out there on the waning seconds of a penalty after a full clear out of the zone or to kill a 5 on 3. So, really, I'm not sure how to judge whether or not he's on his way to winning another because him winning the last three has really changed the standard somehow. Pav is without a doubt a fantastic defensive player but at the same I thought that PK time is supposed to be really important in terms of judging a player's defensive abilities.

When we saw Pav and Z play together this year they really didn't look all that great. With Babs hell bent on keeping them apart, I've been wondering about whether or not they'll ever be able to recreate the magic. YT has 'Top Plays with Lecavalier and St. Louis' and I thought, "Why don't they have one of these for Datsyuk and Zetterberg?" So to the best of my ability and access to footage as a fan, I made one myself. Even though the NHL doesn't have footage stored from 02-03 or 03-04, I feel as if I remember those years fairly well enough that I'm not missing a goal when it comes to pretty plays between the two.
