Should the NHL expect similar letters from Hawks fans tomorrow morning?

Playing Devil's advocate.... They were probably looking to take one blackhawk to the box based on their behavior in the scrum and just einy meeny mini moed on Walker. They were starting scrums all over the place and the officials wanted it to stop. Maybe it didn't make sense to send Walker there but some Hawk was going to pay up regardless.

We wings fans bitched about Game 3 while hawks fans did so for Game 4. I don't get it. Who's right? Or is it not a matter of "Who's right?" but rather "Whatever benefits your team"? The officiating must really suck to create such a disparity.

To be fair, Anaheim's offensive style is much different along with arguably the best defense in the league. Maybe Pav and Z play better together against teams who aren't as good. But I'm sure you already thought of this.

Fil's backhand pass to Hossa to start the give and go that resulted in Fil's goal was beautiful. B-E-A-utiful.

Well I think Hossa wanted to play with either Pav or Z and the management and Babs promised they'd try it out. Hopefully the experiment is over.

Oh and I'll say this much about Crosby. I'm rather indifferent to him as a whole but he's been scary good these playoffs. Definitely deserves the C on his shoulder.

He didn't leave his feet. You might be able to say he led with his elbow/forearm though but I don't know if that changes anything.

Yeah it does look like a pacifier or something. It's not a good example of how to wear your mouthguard though and you have a bunch of kids who look up to him and try to be like him. It annoys me because I remember Franzen admitted that he enjoyed instigating and then running away, which is just stupid. I can't hate Corey Perry and like Franzen at the same time when he does crap like that.

Datsyuk admitted that one of the biggest reasons as to why he loves Z as a linemate is because Z has that pure defensive instinct that allows him to lead the defensive play while Pav can simply do his part and not feel too much pressure on the defensive end. Hossa and Datsyuk were offense-first guys who eventually learned to play on the defensive end. They are maybe not the type to lead a line in terms of defensive play; as least not as much as Z. Maybe Fil is Hossa's Z. He'll lead the defensive play so that Hossa can just do his part and on the offensive end, Fil will give the puck to Hossa and let him create.
