Yeah I guess I should get me one of those. Does "I didn't have centre ice back then so I only have a handful of games recorded from 02-03" mean that you have every game from 03-04? EDIT: Dang it. I just re-read your post previous to this one where you said you don't have any from that year... Right? I'm hopeful.

I'd really like for the Wings to keep him somehow. He's just such a great person who always seems to have a smile on his face. Oh, and he's a good hockey player too. I think he's just about the ideal guy overall that I'd like for the Wings to have on their bottom six. And so you want him to keep scoring but at the same time the more he produces, the larger his salary will be next year and the more difficult it will be for the Wings to keep him.

Well Modano was really starting to get used to the system before he got injured. Even before when he was struggling you could tell he at least had experience as he at times anticipated plays pretty well in 5 on 5 situations whereas Helm/Abdelkader would just skate too quickly or position themselves to low or high etc.

Oh it's you that upped those. You're awesome!!! Haha. I have a tape of that goal/game somewhere. In fact, I have a whole bunch from 02-03 and maybe some from 03-04 but I'm not sure how to convert the VHS to YT. Any recommendations? I remember those seasons fairly well. As far as highlight reel goals go between the two, I don't recall all that many. They had maybe a handful but many of those were either nice passes by Hull or someone else.

Despite his scouting report, Nyquist really isn't all that superb defensively. He's capable but perhaps hasn't shown it at Maine because they've asked him to score. Plus, like Zetterberg, he skates hard and his speed is good but it's nothing like Hagelin. Nyquist is the better playmaker though for sure and a better scorer overall.

I remember this goal quite well from the Fox Sports broadcast. Mickey Redmond got a little excited because he thought it was Robitaille that scored as that year was just one big slump for Lucky Luc. I definitely thought about this one and maybe it should be in the top 20.
