Which of These Players Will be the Next to Score a Goal?
titanium2 replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
Hoss. -
For being in the East, I actually think the Pens have one of the best defenses.
-
HORRIBLE turnover by the Canes. But a magnificent save by Ward. I imagine that'll be on YT within the hour.
-
Canes finally sustained some pressure in the o zone.
-
Careful. You don't want the police to come after you.
-
Versus talked about the Wings... And gave them compliments. Hmm. What's their angle? They praised Franzen and Cleary and their numerous odd man rushes. Versus said that Kane will not be allowed to stickhandle so pretty against the Wings. Datsyuk isn't having much luck in that department either.
-
No they're not the reason but the sequence in which Hal Gill got away with interference multiple times certainly didn't help the Canes.
-
Maybe in Sweden's version of VS. Maybe.
-
Canes are lucky they're only down 2.
-
Ok how was that not interference on Hal Gill???
-
Oh brotherhood. Jordan with a nice stick check on Eric.
-
Canes will be lucky to end this period down by 2.
-
Nice move by Satan for the first goal. Nice backhand by Malkin for the 2nd.
-
Good gracious... Canes are just handing it to them. What a bad change.
-
Horrible awareness of the penalty expiration.
-
Might just be a combination of PIT transition game and CAR infamous trap defense.
-
A penalty on the Pens??? No... Really?
-
I swear, how do they get so many PPs?
-
Good. That only motivates him to play out of his mind.
-
Him and Hossa are injury buddies.
-
Exactly. They've played one game. One. Let's not go nuts. And those people who said during second round play that the Hawks were the worst team left in the playoffs have some explaining to do. They're no joke.
-
Actually... I forget, who did CHI try to match up with Datsyuk's line? Was is Keith and Seabrook with Pahlsson?
-
Well, if you had to pick one to be more at fault than the other, then yeah, that would be Hossa. It's annoying when Pav and sometimes Homer battle for the puck in their own zone and then pass it on to Hossa only for him to wrister one into the glass or just plain throw it away. It's even more aggravating when you consider that he's tied for being the highest paid player on the team. Maybe his subconscious wants him to damage his own playoff stats so that it'll be easier for him to take a ridiculously low salary cap hit.

Report: Patrick Roy offered Avs' Head Coaching Position
titanium2 replied to HockeytownRules19's topic in General
Hmm... Well, Roy does have an infectious winning attitude/arrogance. In fact, it's so infectious that he has quite an interesting background check. -
Interesting. Maybe the Wings didn't convert because they were a little shocked on how much space they had as a side effect of their series against ANA. They had more space and just didn't know what to do with it; didn't use it as effectively as they could. In addition to that, there's no way that was the Hawks' best game. They will be immensely better for Game 2, which perhaps means that the Wings won't have as much room. So all in all the Wings don't have to adjust all that much, other than giveaways.
