Kopy's got man love for the Hoss.

Alright, I need to get this thread back to Red Wings pictures.

Haha. That's like when women prefer their chippendales to not show their dangles.

Wh... 2250? What is wrong with you people?! At some point these have to flatline.

I've said this all along. Unless Hossa takes an extremely generous cap hit that is around the average of Datsyuk's, Zetterberg's and Franzen's, then he won't be a Wing next year. I think it was Bruce Macleod who wrote an article about how during Z's press conference you could see Hossa and Kopecky just casually walking by on their way to the exits; symbolic of how those two will in all likelihood leave for new teams while Z remains a Wing.

And to think, with all the options and free agents, this is a roster that's a rather "worst case" scenario: Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Hudler-Filppula-Franzen Leino-Helm-Cleary Abdelkader-Draper-Maltby Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Lilja Meech
-
Interesting. If you had to demote/trade someone to make room for Ericsson in the top 4, who would it be? That's tough. Nick is Nick. Rafalski has been one of Nick's best dman partners for his whole career. Kronwall is the future #1 PP quarterback. Stuart provides the "typical North American toughness." If you had to pick one, you might say Stuart is the most likely, even though he's been great in these playoffs. My general attitude towards Lebda and Meech is... well... yeah, waive them. They're a dime a dozen it seems.

I wonder what the next Grind Line will be. I used to think Abdelkader-Helm-Andersson but all three of those guys are quality centermen.
-
He has deceptive speed but it's still not that fast. I don't really see any team interested in picking him up to be a #6 dman. At best he'll get a reserve dman role and if that's the case then why not be that guy on a two-way contract for the team he's been with for the past 10 years?
-
People did after Game 3.
-
Maybe he'll get those 17 goals in Anaheim. He played better in the road last year.
-
How did you edit the title?
-
Hey. It's a lot easier to point the finger and say some other external force kept you from achieving your goal rather than to face the truth that maybe you're just not good enough.
-
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they lost Hossa, Huds and Kopecky.

Well, I should've said that I just don't like his voice. Never have. He sounds like a wanna be jock to me.
