New pandering. http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/2009/05/du...goes_on_th.html Now Kronwall should be at fault.

Is that an opinion or an actual report? EDIT: Sorry, it is actually a report. http://www.newsday.com/sports/hockey/wire/...0,2693200.story

"YOU SAID WHAT ABOUT THE HIT?!!?!?!"

"YOU'RE GONNA TAKE IT AND YOU'RE GONNA LIKE IT!!!"

....That's it, now I really despise Perry.

You don't like Cox?

Oh and you know how in the 4-1 win against CBJ in Game 1 or pretty much any of the games, Babs sometimes says, "If they score first, maybe the game's a little different." Well last night was certainly different. Good thing they still won.

I'm happy for the win, no doubt. It's just that after the game I felt kind of like Anaheim lost more so than Detroit won. It was kind of like after Game 1 of the 1997 Conference Finals where Detroit played better but Roy stole the game. The reason this concerns me is because we all know what happened afterwards. The Avs luck ran out and the Wings took over. Hopefully it's not like that but it's still concerning.

Yes.

Ducks fans just don't get it. It's as simple as this. Head up or not, you cannot lead with your stick and make contact with another player's head. It's a fast game but I have trouble believing that he saw Hudler at a generously listed 5'9 and couldn't pin his elbows to his side so that he made contact shoulder to shoulder.

Hopefully your presence at the Joe during Sunday's game will bring some good fortune for the Wings.

I actually thought Zetterberg played well. He skated well; good defensively. Offensively he wasn't great, held on to the puck for too long, but who was besides Saint Nick? It's Datsyuk and Hossa that are still bugging me. They're playing like individuals who are only good during the regular season but can't bring it when playoff time comes. Both of them used to have the label of playoff chokers. Maybe they need to shed that label again.
-
They can definitely dig deeper and they can definitely play better. But overall, enjoy the win tonight and get over it for the next game. BTW, what was Salami complaining about at the end of the game?
-
Not necessarily a good thing. Maybe they're hitting too much beyond their own capacity. That's not their game. That's Anaheim's game.
-
Seriously, they are much smarter than that. They need to act like it.

ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dammit come on! We're not supposed to be the ones who take dumb penalties.
-
He'd make a great parent.

Last I checked, Hiller didn't take a direct shot to the head and got up bleeding profusely. And all those Anaheim fans reading this reaction who defend Brown should be ashamed of themselves.
-
Good period. Hopefully all the nervous jitters are out. Catch your breath, relax, and just play.

I thought the Ducks were the ones who needed to be disciplined and not take stupid penalties. Come on guys...
