The Comerica Park idea is nice. Here's who I'd kind of like as opponents: Worshington - Battle of skills Philadelphia - Battle of wills/styles St. Louis - Who knows how good their record would be if they still had Oshie? I imagine them as even better than they are this year. It's a rivalry kind of game for sure and it would be quite the battle for points. Vancouver - Euro Twins versus Sedin Twins always entertaining as far as skill and competitiveness goes.

I just wish we could see what he'd be like on the third line with more responsibilities on the offensive end. A line of Cleary-Abdelkader-Eaves sounds like a decent idea as far as offense from the third line goes. How is it that Miller gets Hudler's spot?

I noticed in the game against NJ that he moved/skated with a little more confidence. There were time where he hogged the puck a little bit and I actually liked to see that from him for now.

One of the better games in their recent history is Game 7 against Anaheim in '09. They were really up for that one. Ken Daniels voice was just about shot by the end of the night.

Why is it that whenever somebody from the bottom six needs to fill in on a scoring line that Babs chooses Miller over Eaves? There has to be a good reason for it. I thought Eaves is the one with the greater upside offensively?

I wonder how Kovalchuk feels these days. He's getting paid, sure. But man oh man his "legacy" is in trouble. Not sure if he even cares though.

I think the bigger mental monkey for him is actually Sawchuck's win total but you're right in that now that he's so close to 400 he's just gotta get it over with so he doesn't think about that number anymore.

I really shudder to think of the Wings sending Modano and Hudler out there into playoff hockey intensity. No matter who else is on that wing it'd be known as the invisible line.
