Guys, come on. You all know that St. Louis played a pretty damn fine game. The way they played for those 50 minutes was impressive. With all their injuries they were still right there up until that point. I just hope the Wings look out the next time they play the Blues.

Pretty much. Especially after a relatively long break. They always need a game to get their legs going. In a way I suppose it's impressive that they're able to win that game.

Yeah, I probably have to agree with Mick. Outplayed for 50 minutes. Perhaps didn't deserve to win the game. But, you know, people get what they get and that really has little to do with what they deserve.

Even though Oshie is out the Wings should prepare as hard as they can. I don't feel all that great about this one because they've had another relatively long break and they're going to face a pretty good team with some pretty good chemistry. So I hope the Wings keep their shifts short and dominate the puck.

We laugh now. Yet I'm definitely afraid that once his contract is up, and let's say Lebda shows his worth as more of a veteran's minimum (if that) kind of player, then Kenny will offer him a contract to be a #6 or #7 defenseman. It'll be like Jason Williams all over again.

When did Nill compare him to Cooke? I don't remember that. And it wasn't Nill that first compared to him to Carcillo but rather his own coach in Kelowna. Then George Malik said that Mitch is like a cross between Dallas Drake and Kirk Maltby.

Filppula in a fight? Please no. I love the guy and he's awesome at a lot of things. I'm sure he'd show some heart in a fight but I really don't ever want to see that.
