Can't they say "upper body injury" instead? (Yes I know hip isn't upper body but I thought that was the whole point of the whole upper/lower body speak. Anyone remember that story of Shanahan going to the team bus on crutches and someone asked what was wrong and he said, 'Upper Body Injury!'?)

In all seriousness, Pav and Z will eventually play on separate lines. But now is not the time. The Filppula line, although cooled, is still solid. The Modano line is still a work in progress but a work in progress that is finally going in the right direction. The Helm line is probably where Hudler should be despite his salary.

Yeah man. It's there in the archives somewhere. It happened around the time of the Coyotes series last year. It might have been after the game where Datsyuk, Filppula and Zetterberg combined for one of the prettiest empty net goals I've ever seen.

If Hudler-Helm-Maltby/McCarty can provide a solid 8-9 minutes then shouldn't Hudler-Helm-Miller be able to do the same??? Maybe even better? That way Cleary-Modano-Eaves can play good defense, skate north-south, shoot first, look for rebounds and ask questions later.

Yeah sorry I didn't mean that to say the Wings prospect pool is shallow. I'm just surprised that HF is actually putting the Wings within the top ten. Either they got a change in personnel at HF or they were under some kind of substance influence.
