Loudly? I don't think so, to be honest. But I don't mean that as a discredit to the way some of these players have performed. When I think of someone knocking on the door loudly, I think of Ville Leino and Darren Helm back during the pre-season of 08-09. Even Babcock thought so with his "Helm is an NHL player" and that Leino was "the best player we've sent to minors, for sure" comments.

I'm a fan of his but lately I've been obsessing on his negatives. Ken and Mickey mentioned how last year the PK made such a significant improvement from when the season started to when it ended. The first thing I thought was, "Yeah, probably because Ericsson wasn't on it anymore" and then followed that up with "...Where the hell did that come from?" I really hope that he won't become just another "so much potential and yet just couldn't put it all together" stories.

Z and Rafi lead the team in points (4) so far during this pre-season. I know, I know. It's the pre-season. Alright, alright, I got it, I got it - s***, I lost it. +1 to whoever can name the movie quote first. -
I know the league wants a hard cap and all but I'm telling ya the veteran's minimum policy like they have in the NBA would be awesome.

I thought he got better as the game went along but I wouldn't go that as far as to say he's NHL reaady. -
Hate implies respect, imo. Which is a good thing. In that sense, slight edge to the Ducks because when I watched the Wings play them at times I doubted, "Can they beat this team? Can they win against this style of play?" Now that Pronger is gone the Ducks aren't that much of a threat. With the Pens I've never doubted whether or not the Wings could beat them. Still don't.

Gordie Howe is the greatest player to ever play the game. Yeah I said it. Hmph. -
I think it has something to do with the fact that it's easier to produce the jerseys if they do the font that way, seeing as how you have not only the regular team members but also prospects and FA tryouts and so forth.

Abdelkader not so good performance on the PK on that one shift. He'll get better though.
