Kings out-worked, out-fought and out-played the Wings tonight. They had great hustle and energy and battled their way through the game. They finished their chances too. Oh how I wish the Wings would display some of these qualities. Only Franzen and Kronwall are the major players missing (I don't count Willy), and yet the Wings look tired, old, and lacking in energy and fighting qualities. Plus our two guys on 6mil+ can't seem to score a goal. It might be the best thing that ever happened if they didn't make the playoffs. They might actually rebuild properly. Enough of guys getting constant games no matter how bad they suck. Can't believe they'd suck this bad against LA, knowing the 8th place situation. Bummer.

Kings own Wings. Oh jeez oh man.

I missed the 1st period, but from what I've seen of 2nd and 3rd, LA are much the better team again. Pretty depressing.

I can't help liking Torts.

Drew Miller should be kept. The guy's solid as a rock. By the way, when is the last time Cleary scored a shootout goal? I know he has, but man does he look out of ideas every time he's on, usually at No.4. I guess they're missing Franzen, but still. Such a relief to win won of those things. Eaves, Helm, Miller. These guys are gold, Jerry! Gold!

Of course, of f--king course they can't hold a lead with only 5 or 6 minutes left. Grrrrrrrrr
