I thought this was 'who is he more likely to make turtle' so obviously I voted Perry. But the option I'd like to see happen is Ott.
-
Lol, yep, he looks like a fine, upstanding citizen now.
-
Huh, D Mac looks very well on Versus, sounds pretty decent too. I hadn't seen him until now.
-
Lol, I was at that game. Couldn't believe when I looked over and seen Jimmy. Well I guess I could believe it, but still. I can't see Babcock taking another regular season of this kind of Ozzie.
-
Osgood and Leino too. With Osgood, we've taken the bad to get the good before, but there comes a time when it's just not good enough anymore. I agree with what you say above, my mood darkens when I see him starting a game. I honestly don't know how Babcock doesn't lose his s*** with him sometimes. As for Leino, I was never as sure that he'd be a hit like some on here so he's not a huge disappointment, but boy has he been bad. I noticed him tonight skating over to defencemen along the boards, and letting up ALL THE TIME. I mean, I know he's not huge and a hit from him would be like a fly landing on them, but he's still gotta try! He also looks horribly slow, something I only noticed in the playoffs last year, not the regular season. His confidence is so low now that he looks like he's avoiding the play. On the flipside, you could say Ozzie was rusty tonight because he's not had many games recently. And Leino may look better if we had most of our better players healthy. So I'm not panicking yet - just dying to get some of our guys healthy. How about we spend some dough on a goalie in the summer? That or someone like Frolov to play with Dats and Franzen. Kovalchuk would be great but I think he'll stay in Atlanta.

http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...terberg_ou.html Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg out at least two weeks with slightly separated shoulder By Ansar Khan December 18, 2009, 11:06AM DETROIT -- Detroit Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg will be out a minimum of two weeks with a slightly separated left shoulder, the club announced today. No word yet on whether anybody will be recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL). If Darren Helm, who's missed the last two games with a strained tendon in his left wrist, is ready to play Saturday in Dallas, the Red Wings will have enough forwards. Zetterberg was injured with 1:43 remaining in the first period of Thursday's 3-0 win over Tampa Bay, taking a hard shoulder-to-shoulder check from Mattias Ohlund.

He's getting better all the time.

With Kronner, Ericsson and Lilja all out... We'll be playing Lids, Raf, Stuart, Lebda, Meech, Janik/Kindl? I wouldn't mind seeing Aaron Ward here on Lilja money...
-
I meant that they'd only be stuck with the contract until the summer. Even if they took it at 2.5, and not 1.25.
-
Well, Ward's contract is up in the summer I'm pretty sure. So... it could be do-able...
-
On re-entry waivers he could be got for 1.25 right? That wouldn't be bad, but I guess some other team would snap him up first.
-
Seems like they confused No. 27 with No. 17 on the assist. Tatar's last game before the WJC too, 3 points, very impressive.
-
Sweet.

BJ Penn fairly gave Diego Sanchez a licking yesterday - though I'm always more concerned about him licking his gloves after laying down a bloody beating. I mean, Jesus, communicable diseases anyone? He's good though.
-
Well - Nylander went to Grand Rapids on a conditioning stint towards the end of October, and played 5 or 6 games for the Griffs, before returning. I think he put up roughly point-per-game numbers. So there's a link there all right... But honestly, I don't know how exactly it works with that big contract of his. If he does go to the Griffs, I assume he's there for the year.

Gotta love the Bert. Got his groove back.
-
The thing I like about him is that he seems to able to forget about it when he lets in a softie, instead of letting it prey on his mind and crumbling. Even last night he made quite a few saves after his gaff. I've been impressed with him.
-
If it makes any difference it was a primary assist, he laid it on a plate for Homer...
-
I love the happy, dainty little hops Bert did after roofing that one.

I meant Bert. Gotta love the Bert!!!
