Phoenix, even though I think they'd play well, I don't think they'd have the experience needed to get past the Wings. Also, the fact that we beat a Dave Tippett-coached team in the Stanley Cup run of 07/08, might be good luck.

Why are people assuming Holmstrom will retire? There was an article a couple of weeks ago implying that he would probably be re-signed. http://www.detnews.com/article/20100317/SPORTS0103/3170433/1128/rss16 Or has something changed since? As for Hudler, yes please. Williams gone hopefully. I reckon Bert, Homer, Lids, Miller, Eaves, Helm, Abs, Lilja, Kindl will all be with the Wings next year. Possibly with 1m cap space.

I take back what I said about Ericsson on the goal, his pass got to Bert but Bert turned it over.

I thought Ericsson could've held on to the puck for that goal, instead of trying a risky pass while the rest of the team was changing.
