I am not an advocate for diving/embellishment, but the wings have been on the bad side of so many atrocious calls this year that I would not have felt guilty if we had scored. Everything equals itself out (well, in theory it does)

I am with Daniels on this one though...if that was just a regular play in the middle of the ice that would have been called a hand pass...I guess I just don't understand the NHL rules on this kind of thing.

I love how at the start of each and every powerplay the pred fans make a "predator" with their index and middle finger, aka "fang fingers." very creative and un-annoying.

There is a problem with this...in the first period of last game alone the name Sidney Crosby was said something like 29 times (I counted). 29 shots + under an hour = impending death.

I was irritated at the end when we were obviously going to go up 2-0 in the series and Pierre is like well I'd say a series doesn't truly begin until the home team loses one. That's alright, they can keep hating. On a side note, in the first period I counted how many times the word "Crosby"--29 times. On the other hand, Zetterberg was mentioned 17 times.

In the unlikely chance that a Wings player does get a hatty the remainder of the season do we still get free Arby's, even though this game is not on FSN? Just wondering, you never know... In terms of Danny today--I hope that it silences all of his haters. Whether he is putting the puck in the net or not he is always putting forth a huge effort. Besides his goals that he scored, it is pretty impressive that during the final moments of the game today, what forwards were in??--Hanks, Dats, and...Cleary.

The best was when I saw this video before game one and the video goes through a brief summary of the red wings' storied history...and here we were playing Columbus--it just made the differences between the two teams even more obvious.

That was obnoxious. He is preaching to his players not to lose their tempers and take stupid penalties. Way to show a good example of responsibility.

This game showed good character on all parts. As my heartrate returns to normal, I am thankful not only that we won, but that I can now wake up at 5:30am and be in a good mood. Getting up the morning after a playoff loss sucks.
