We are 9 games in on the season. Cleary has be excellent for most of his 3+ years here and we want to judge him on 9 games? You are making Cleary seem like this awful hockey player and it isn't justified. Okay he doesn't shoot ridiculously hard and his production thus far hardly warrents his new 2.5+ mil/yr contract, but he is defensively reliable, works hard, and is a good team guy. The points will come, especially playing with Sammy and Hank. In the past seasons, Cleary has started off slowly and ended with 20 goals. Maybe it is just me, but I found your post unbelieveably and unfairly critical.

I admit, I've always had a distaste for Lebda...especially now because I'd love to see Erikkson in there. But what really bothers me is that he really is failing to take responsibility for how s***ting he is playing. He had some quote in the newspaper that said: "I don't think I'm playing that bad as far as the stats are reflecting." For me, he is playing as bad as his stats say and he needs to realize how far off track he has fallen. Lebda can recover from this poor start, but he needs to get his head on straight. We just saw Babcock bench Maltby, so we know Babcock won't hesitate to sit Lebda.

I was just going to post that. Conroy is a great locker room guy, he's absolutely hilarious--and I love the hard-nosed hockey style he plays.

I nominate our 2nd line d-men, Stuart and Kronner. They got in some key minutes, against great players, scored some big goals and got in huge hits. Here's to hoping that Stuart will take the pay-cut and stay in the Winged Wheel, Kronner really flourished playing alongside him.
