No, this has been happening for a while now.I remember last year in the playoffs when every series in the first round had those scrums and cheapshots, tough guys were getting tossed out of games for any kind of scrum in the 3rd period of a noncompetitive game.
Regardless of whether they did something egregious or not. A guy would push and shove, and get a misconduct. Screw this sissy league.
Look what the rules and sissy stuff did for NASCAR. Does anybody ever watch it anymore? Too much b*lls***....not enough hardcore racing.

Pretty much getting outplayed. What else is there to say? Why are we so unprepared? Is this the fault of the coaching, players or both....to me, looks like everybody responsible at this point.

Malkin played more consistently. Fleury was swiss a few nights remember.
The only issue I have with it is that the NHL didn't follow their own rule for his instigator penalty suspension. C'mon...either you have rules and follow them or don't have any!

We have some of the brightest young talent in the league. It's time for the veterans to hang up their skates and make room for the youngsters that have more "hunger" to win these series?

Good job to the Pens. They obviously wanted it more and it didn't help that "lady luck" wasn't on our side...sometimes the pucks just don't find the back of the net.
Too bad we had to force the game 7....nothing is never certain in hockey!

Whether it was the Lions, the Wings or the Tigers....they each have had their share of real bad games. I'm wondering if that's a sign of a Detroit team fan or what? The people down here in Louisiana find it pretty annoying I guess.

Outplayed? 53-20 shots is being outplayed?Considering they are playing with the talent they have available to them with 2 key injured players and this "young" goalie, Yes, I would say we should have slaughtered this team.
