your timing is indeed impeccable haha. You're like Batman, we put up the signal and you come right away

Apparently me, you, and a few others are the only ones that do considering that Stuart/Cleary thread.

As many of you have already said, every coach of the team we play in the playoffs always seem to ***** when we win. What it does imo is instead of having the players/team focus and correct mistakes they made and trying to adjust, the team gets the impression that they were playing alright and if they continue to play that way they will win because we got away with cheating or got some calls. I also think this may be strategy by hitch to have the media focus on us cheating and take some of the spotlight off of Columbus.

Yea pretty much. I mean I know in today's day and age in sports it's all about what have you done for me lately but this was only 2 seasons ago and the man has broken his jaw and had an eye injury, give him a break. -
The "I Support Dan Cleary and Brad Stuart" Thread

I support both Danny and Stu. Everyone loved Clearly back in 07, especially the playoffs, where's the love now? So he didn't score 30 goals this year, he doesn't have to nor do we need him to with the talent we have here. Stu leads our team in hits this season and is our only physical presence aside from Kronwall and Lilja who is out right now. -
Yea same here even though if we play Anaheim I would be able to go to the games here in Orange County
-
Then it would still come down to what the blues do, if anaheim gets 1 point and the blues win then we play Columbus, if they lost then we would play Anaheim, if the blues also got a point then we play Anaheim.
-
Yea that's correct.
-
If ANA wins they get the 6th spot cuz they have the tiebreaker so then it comes down to the blues and blue jackets. If the Blues win, they move up to 7th cuz they have the tiebreaker over the blue jackets.

If the Ducks lose tonight and St. Louis wins tomorrow, then we would play Columbus, and if the Blues lost we would play Anaheim. If Anaheim wins tonight and St. Louis wins tomorrow, then we would play St. Louis and if they lost then we would get Columbus.

Living in Orange County and being an Angels fan this is very tragic. He was our top prospect and had a very bright future. In addition, two days earlier and Angels fan was killed at the stadium by an A's fan as he was hit from behind and hit his head on a concrete step, and the next day a piece of concrete fell from the stadium onto some seats. Thankfully no one was sitting where it landed and no one was hurt. Very strange happenings at Angel stadium in a 3 day span.

Speaking of Hartnell, remember this ass beating Fisch gave Scotty! name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" />

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Franzen-Hudler-Hossa Sammy-Flip-Cleary Maltby-Draper-Helm Lidstrom-Kronwall Rafalski-Stuart Lilja-Ericsson Osgood starts but like Dom last year, if he struggles, they must put Conklin in.

The division has obviously gotten better and like a few of you have already stated, no one can make any argument about how we only win because of a poor division. On the other hand, the pacific has really gone downhill. With the exception of San Jose, that division has gotten incredibly worse since the season started. Phoenix and LA are two of the bottom 3 teams and Dallas and Anaheim are not in a playoff spot at the moment.

Colors is such a masterpiece too. Dan Briggs's bass playing in Viridian is truly beautiful, that and White Walls are my two favorite songs on the album. I'm just glad someone here is aware of BTBAM besides me haha.
-
Yes, but he also hit 52 in 07 as well as winning 2 MVP's since 05.
-
Yea I've always liked them too, it's a shame they weren't as popular and that they broke up in 06.

I think it's a little surprising just beacuse A-rod has always had a consistent career. It's not like he pulled a Bonds and hit 72 all of a sudden and balloned into a body builder with no neck. A-rod has always been good for 30-40 HR's a year with 100 or so RBI's and slowly developed physically. In the end I guess it was a false sense of hope in that many baseball fans like myself wanted to see someone, who had a chance and thought to be clean, break the home run record set by bonds who I think we all know used performance enhancing drugs. No one wanted to see Bonds keep the record and if A-rod or someone like Griffey broke it, it could restore some credibility back to baseball. That doesn't seem to the be the case anymore.
