The second pick, Max Nicastro is from the same town as me, Thousand Oaks. I played roller hockey with his older brother. Cam is nowhere near 5.5 mil a year. He scored 11 goals in the first 15 games this year for the kings, then only 8 goals in 48 games. 8 goals in 48 games. If you dont get that, its 8 goals... in 48 games. You really think he will command 5.5 mil? No way jose. Cammy has tons of potential, but hes not anywhere near earning 5.5 mil a year.

Naslund would be a dream come true for us. Granted he was making 6 mil a season, things are different now. Hasn't scored over 60 points in two seasons, so his value has lowered contract wise. Plus being he is a swede, and at 35 years old, he has a REAL shot for a cup with the wings. Hmmm, I wonder how Franzen and Naslund with filp would do? Pretty god damn good IMO

I live in CA, hockey coverage is the same as it is in most states. Being in LA, get get both Kings and Ducks coverage so we do get a lot of hockey. Only 15,00 showed up because most all CA fans HATE the ducks. If the sharks won, San Jose would be packed crazy. And if the kings won.... well all those fans the kings used to have would mysteriously appear and there would be hundreds of thousands packing the staple center.

Yeah, being from LA, a lot of the kings fans and ducks fans are like that. Never played the game themselves, for all I know they have never even owned a hockey stick in their lives, yet the ducks are the best team in the nhl! blah blah blah stfu you are bad, and from the OC.

im an avid nhl08 player. I tried the same thing, only I got the wings vs the sens. If you actually play the game, the wings and sens are easily the two best teams. EA sports always gives players on the wingers lower overalls, they have some huge bias against us. But overvalls in the game is a mean of a bunch of numbers. Defensemen are going to drop because their faceoff and stick handling is usually very low. But in hockey games for any pc or console, SPEED is what wins you games. Wings are bomb in the game, so are the sens, and the pens with hossa too.

Ive been a wings fan my whole life. Right now though, living in LA, its fun to talk crap on hockey fans. See, a "bandwagon fan" can also be called a "ducks fan." So I love to go to every wings vs ducks game and I talk to much s*** its ridiculous. In fact, it is so fun because these so called "fans" think they actually have a clue about hockey, when they are actually complete morons who think its cool to root for the ducks because they represent the OC. Usually its pointless to argue about hockey with anyone in SOCAL, they just dont have any idea what the game is about. So I take anything that is said about my beloved wings with a grain of salt.

that McCarty-Helm-Hudler line was awesome yesterday. They seriously are bringing some heat. They had that awesome goal, plus in the first Mac threw a perfect pass from the blue line to a streaking hudler that was saved. I just love how the 3 of them are playing together. I really hope Helm doesnt get benched when Maltby comes back. Sammy needs to be benched.

just an FYI, although you might like the wild or the sharks, you cant possibly be a wings fan and root for them. we MUST MUST MUST see a Avalanche/Flames series win, therefore we dont have to play the ducks or sharks till conference finals.
