I live in SoCAL so I get all the ducks games on fox sports. At one point during the game vs the sens last night, the color commentator mentioned the goalie pads and how GMs were looking to make new rule changes for them. They then continued to show a clip of Gerber making a save, followed by a comment of how Doug Weight could have scored that goal had Gerber been wearing smaller pads. He then continue to remark how big Gerber looks for a guy wearing oversized pads. I basically puked all over myself. Who the f*** has the nerve to call Gerber out on over sized pads when the team you announce for has huge s*** Gigure between the pipes. God damn i hate duck announcers, I hate Gigure who is basically cheating by strapping two midgets covered in pads to each of his shins, and I hate that damn pennywise song "bro hymm" they play every time they score a freakin goal. WOOOOOOOO oohhh OHHHH ohhhhhhh. Drives me insane. How can fans like that? They have been playing it for every single damn goal for 3 seasons now. Someone needs to murder every duck fan and player besides Selanne.

I agree with completely. However Id change your pairings. Meech-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Lilja-Ericsson I think kronwall and Stuart should stay together and contiune to build chemistry as they will be partners in the playoffs. I also think Meech/Rafalski should point the Datsyuk line, with kronner and Stuart behind the Z line. Last night Kronwall played... ******* brilliantly, playing with zetter/franzen/sammy really showed how well he can jump in the offensive rush espeically that slap-pass to franzen for the second goal last night. LOVED IT. I would hate to see Lebda (although at times hes played great) to start over Ericsson. Ericsson should keep playing untill cheli/liddy is ready to come back.

lets be a little more optimistic here. this is or cup year, just give it two weeks and the wings will be back.

Our D needs to be re-evaluated. Lets look at the facts. It is a FACT that Lilja and Lebda give the puck away. They have done it numerous times. Now obvious it is going to happen, but for them its all too common. I love the grit Lilja has, and I love the speed and offensive jump ledba brings, however I think both of them need to be scratched. They just dont make the grade. Personally, this stretch that has allowed Meech to fill in has been great for him. Its also been a great chance to see Ericksson. Meech however, has been awesome, no doubt. Meech was def our best defensemen these past two weeks. I believe Meech has showed the defensive play we need from a 3rd liner. Lids / Ralf Kronner / Stuart Meech / Cheli Thats how it needs to be. Someone made a post earlier about bringing Lilja to the offense, I think that would be a wondeful idea. At least versus a rough opponent like the Ducks or the Flames. We need the grit. dats - z - homer franzen - flip - cleary maltby - draps - mac downey - drake - lilja/hudler bring the paintrain to Pronger's gap toothed face.
