nah, not gonna happen! I feel a little outdone too, everyone is doing all these fancy things... oh well, I'm just gonna keep it simple with the single strings.

I bought mine while we were in Michigan at Michael's (I also found out the hard way that Wal-Mart doesn't carry it after looking around for 20 minutes, lol) For the avs I am doing burgundy for a win and blue for a loss. I like the braids, but a single string will have to do... I think mine will hold up since I sit at a desk all day.

If they sold you the whole set you're lucky, I checked with a couple places and they would only sell you the medallion of the day plus the previous releases and you had to have at least one coupon. I know they have the albums for free at several places so if someone could please help us out we'd really appreciate it. We've already bought about 7 medallions and I don't want to have to put them in the damaged album if we don't have to. Thanks again everyone...

we didn't make it to Cheli's during our trip

we liked hockeytown cafe, the food was decent.... I would recommend going there and then just parking in the fox theater garage like we did.

Maybe I'll have to try this idea for the avs with burgundy and blue string. That is, of course depending on how tonight's game goes and the games following that... I have my fingers crossed!

He was asking me "who is that guy from Colorado?" (regarding my Sakic jersey) then he just chuckled a little bit and smiled, he really loved joking around and was just enjoying talking to everyone. In fact, he wanted to have a conversation with each person that came through the line.

Gordie came to Broomfield, CO last April and we had the privilege of meeting him... what a nice guy and a true gentleman. My husband was wearing his Yzerman jersey so Gordie told him "you need to cover up that #1" this is the end result... (Gordie covered up the #1 on his own, lol)
