I really hope Homer starts feeling better soon! But I don't want him to rush back... I didn't get to see him when he came to Denver in December and I'm gonna be really upset if he's not playing by next Thursday when we go to the game!

it was a disappointing loss to say the least... we're gonna have to come out REALLY strong on our last few games... Thank goodness they're coming back home, maybe that will help by giving them a little extra "oomph" Budaj was looking good in net today though, I think he'll get the start on Monday versus Calgary.

here in Denver it's always a conversation starter when my husband and I walk into a store/restaurant and I'm wearing avs gear and he's wearing wings gear. He doesn't usually get too much crap talked to him... and he sometimes even gets a high five there are so many wings fans here in Denver that doesn't really surprise me.

yeah, I have to agree with you... it's nice seeing all the young and talented stars but he's not the only player and it almost seems like they're shining the spotlight on one guy when they do that.

Sounds like regardless of who plays, the Winter Classic is going to be a new thing to look forward to each year since it was such a success. I'm psyched about that

glad to hear he's feeling better, I look forward to seeing him back on the ice soon. I was going to be really bummed if he wasn't healthy enough to play when we make our trip to Detroit next month. He was out with an injury when we went to the December game here in Denver....

ok, so they're doing all these giveaways of gloves, posters, lunch boxes, etc; On the night we're going to a game it's Nascar night. I wonder if they're doing any giveaways, from the looks of it I don't think so.

oh gee, are you serious? Sometimes at Pepsi center we sit around after the games to wait until the wild crowds die down to get up and leave... I guess they're in a rush to get off work

we're so lucky here in Denver because we have all newer arenas... the oldest being Coors Field and it's still a beautiful baseball field. The re-naming of Mile High Stadium was a very big problem for a lot of people, and even though it's now called Invesco Field at Mile High everyone still calls it Mile High Stadium

yeah, if there's the SLIGHT chance that no one wants their poster (LOL, I know) I would definitely pay you for the poster and shipping costs. #1 because my husband saw it on TV and loved it, and #2 it has my precious Homer on it. oh, and #3 they're not giving anything away at the April 3rd game we're going to Well, just thought I would throw it out there

we're sitting in the upper bowl when we go to the game next month... we're ok with our seats but do you think the ushers would let us down in the lowel level to take pictures for 5 minutes if we ask nicely? has anyone done this?
