I'm going to miss him like crazy next year (even though he didn't play much this last season) He will be missed by many, and I have to agree with the above comments about him being part of a dying breed. Not many guys around like Super Joe anymore.

Last time the Wings came to Denver he came out of the hotel... we were so excited to see him but unfortunately he didn't stop and sign. He went back in the hotel and snuck out in a cab... we were so bummed

I bought an authentic edge Lidstrom jersey for my husband and he loves it... sportsk is great and I highly recommend them. They are fast too! Even during the holidays!

The Avs are really struggling right now, but I don't think Roy is the answer. I am an Avs fan and it has been really tough to see them struggle these past couple of seasons.... we need someone with some real NHL coaching experience. Not all Avs fans would be thrilled with this, let me assure you of that. We have not enjoyed watching our team go down the toilet while they trade away good players and make stupid decisions... it's hard to watch. -

Yeah, we were fortunate enough to meet Downey as well during their last trip to Denver.... for the most part I think hockey guys are pretty laid back. I've met a good portion of the Avs and they're a great bunch too. Hockey players are the best when it comes to fan appreciation.

good luck with the autographs... we met the guys when they were in Denver this past season and most of them are nice as can be. We got Zetterberg, Franzen, Homer, Datsyuk and Hossa... just to name a few. No Lidstrom though

Oh, that's alright... And that's kind of what I figured so I didn't even ask I do really appreciate the flags though, if it weren't for you we would have never gotten either of them so it really means a lot. -

I am going to miss him but at least he should be back in time to play while we're in Detroit in April... I missed him last year when we went for the same reason and when I heard about this I was bummed Get well soon Homer!
