Soooo.... was there a good turn out?

It was kind of like when the Rockies made their run to the World Series this past season. Everyone was suddenly a Rockies fan. Just like with any other team they had their die hard fan base who have been fans from the beginning but I know a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon. I have to admit, I am not as huge of a baseball fan as I am of Hockey but what the Rockies was just awesome and totally unexpected and it was fun to be a part of. We found ourselves coming home to watch playoff baseball every night. It was a rush while it lasted, that's for sure... Funny thing is, all of a sudden there's sure a lot of Red Sox fans in Colorado.

well, at least we can make another trip out to Detroit and see the Joe again before they tear it down... I was thinking it would have been sooner than 5-10 years... that's a realllly long time and the Joe is already really old. One of the biggest disadvantages I see is that there's not enough restooms, we basically showed up 1hr before the game and I drank as little as possible to avoid standing in a line of 25 people and missing part of the game.

I enjoy Heineken, Fat Tire, Avalanche and Coors Light. I also love having a good black and tan (usually with Guinness and Bass) mmm.... In fact, I'm enjoying an ice cold coors light as I type this!

we went to Moontime Bar & grill last season and the food was very good, but I think that the wings fans that showed up were stuck up, obnoxious and rude! We'll be watching the game at home... especially with the holiday weekend it's not worth risking getting picked up for a DUI.
