A goal is a goal whether it's s***ty or not. With the coverage we got here in Michigan, I missed the celebration.

I like the Wings just as much as the next guy, but c'mon... talk about being self centered and only caring for your only team. Congrats to Ovechkin though. Such an amazing and talented player to watch. I too can't wait to see where he finishes this season.

I know I'm late responding, but I wouldn't trade Osgood and Hossa for one of the best goaltenders in the league. Sure having a top notch would be amazing, but it wouldn't be for long anyways, it'd be a rental type deal to me I think. The Red Wings are such a great team we just need a goalie to do what he needs to do and that is block shots at the right time and be a goalie. Not saying Conklin and Osgood don't do that, because they definitley do, but we've never actually had a goalie who is a Detroit Red Wing besides Osgood. And you have to admit it, he hasn't always been the best. I don't mean to be one of the many Osgood bashers on this site (as I really like him, he's a nice guy) but a goalie situation has always been an issue with the Wings since we've been on top of the league for years. And yeah, sorry for that little paragraph of doom. I totally forget my originally inentions of this reply, lol.

Osgood should've had the first, but the second goal was quite the ripper. Never doubt the Wings though, such a fantastic comeback.

It's going to be tough, but I have faith in Holland like always. If both guys want to be one a winning team, they know what they have to do on this Wings roster. But it also leaves guys some of our 3rd & 4th line guys out of trouble, and I'm going to miss them... but they all can't last. I sure as hell wouldn't miss Samuelson though that's for sure. God I hope he's one of the guys that are gone next season. He's a nice guy, good shooter, and for what we pay for him... it's nice. But that's just a personal perference of mine, heh.

I think it's just the hatred Roy gets with the heated rivarly we had in the past. That or people think he's a douchebag of a person (which he could be, I'm not the one to say he is though - I've never met the guy). But one thing for sure is what an amazing goalie Roy really was. You can't look past that. Back when I first got into Hockey, I was about 6 at the time, and got into it the year Colorado eliminated us in '96, I did not like the guy AT ALL because he was so good... but I loved the Avalanche still. Enough about Roy though, this is about Marty. Congratulations to Broduer for passing him, of course. He's one hell of a magnificent goalie, and deserves all the recognition he gets. With the 3-4 years he has left in his tank, this is going to be one hell of a record to break. He'll of course beat Terry Sawchucks, which is going to be another great record, but just imagine what that's going to be as well.

It's going to be tough, but like someone already said here, if anyone can do it... it's certainly Datsyuk. What a guy, he's so amazing to watch.

I think we'll re-sign him. He seems to like it here, we like him... I don't see why not. When the time comes though, I'll worry about it then.
