This thread is ridiculous. You gotta know who to be upset with. It's not the same NHL it used to be. The Wings played good tonight and got screwed over. It's basically if they're confident enough because they have the skill. These calls are going to make them think they are playing worse than they are.

This year we really started to see the 'fruits' of the CBA. Babcock said that today "being healthy is currency" that's basically what it is anymore. Steroids will be a bigger problem since teams can't do s*** to get any new players anymore. Money is totally pointless, you get 8 big players and then cheap ones. This leads to bulls*** reasons to play for teams like "is the city pretty enough?" and great players that Detroit builds from the ground up like Cleary leaving to go play for Atlanta because he can get 2 million more. I've felt like this for awhile but this net goal and it's timing put me over the top!

I've been watching the Wings since 1995. Before the CBA there were bad calls but they happened a lot less frequently and never at as big of crucial moments as now. After the CBA there have been way too many frequent bad calls. If it happened at just one occurence I wouldn't be as pissed but this is really starting to get to me. Mickey Mouse League. I totally agree! You can sense what Bettman and others want to see happen to the game and its hard to put into words but it really makes the game lame.

Ahahaha! Wing's are playing good. I think they are playing a good physical game and have had some big hits that I haven't seen in awhile. Their offense still looks like it is limping though. Hudler and Filp have to get better! I thihnk Lebda's wrist is hurt.

Nobody can sign him until his season is over. Which could be a few months depending on how far he goes in the playoffs. It looks like he will come to Detroit but a lot of other teams are trying to woo him over now. He'll probably come here though. We're really good with Swedish players.

What about a Fabian Brunnstrom and Mikael Johansson duo. They both play for Farjestad in Sweden right now and are on one of the best teams. Try to pick up Hossa over the summer.

Melrose is a toilet bug. That guy never liked the Wings. He's half assed at best. ESPN is for football and always will be. Stuart was a good aquisition. I think this losing streak is a good reality check for the team. I worry if the offense can adapt to a dump and chase style game. Teams know to not let the Wings get any speed up the neutral zone.
