Ansar is definately forced to buy the company line. It's possible Kenny is trying to stir up a nice deal and isn't showing his cards. Stuart even looks difficult to aquire since Philly had to use such a high asset with LA. I think we'll get McCarty and one other guy. Maybe not even a big name. Secondary scoring is going to have to pick it up. I agree. I'm glad we got a new coach after 'I forget his name' didn't do so well after his first 2 seasons in the post season. But was that too long to wait? I thought we had enough skill to win a cup on one of those seasons. I'm sure they are looking at it at a lot more angles than we are though. I thought last year was a good run. Almost felt we should have won it.

They were just talking about bringing back wooden sticks because of the speed of the puck. It was kind of stupid. Maybe regulated composite sticks. Listened to them interviewing Ken Holland. They really are trying to court that guy, it is annoying. Also, they are allowing the home team to decide which color jersey to wear in the playoffs.

I think it is safe to say that something is happening. There was stuff said on XM about Anaheim doing something at 11:18PM. That was a little while after someone saw that post on Filppulas facebook. Mysterious. I checked the Thrashers website. No news but the Thrasher cheerleaders are extremely good looking. Hudler and Filppula for Hossa? Would that leave a gap? Those guys aren't exactly super heroes in the playoffs though.
