Yeah, I want the Avs to win so we play them. Of course, we have to get past Narshville first and I don't see the next game being easy. This game tonight was too close.

Versus announcers are major homers for Anaheim. They didn't even announce the goal until way after it was scored, they said nothing much of Turco's amazing save and they changed the score to 2-0 Anaheim initially as Dallas scored.

A sweep is always desired but a loss in the way we lost tonight can be helpful. You could see the game change right both sets of goals. It looked like a regular season game right before the goals. As long as nobody gets hurt things should work out.

Dallas is a tough team. I think it would be difficult for Anaheim to battle back in Dallas. Detroit beat Vancouver after being down 2-0 but they were an 8th seed. I have to say I am surprised and did not think this would happen. I hope the Wings play Colorado in the 2nd round! Oh please, oh please. Dear Duck Guy, sorry for making fun of your team teaching snoop dog how to ice skate.

Luck comes to those who don't count on it. Having said that, the Wings weren't 'lucky' in this game. They dominated and played better than the opposition. Bouncing pucks off skates has become an element of play in playoff hockey. Nashville's called off goal in the first really looked like it wasn't a goal and that the whistle should have been blown. Let them belittle the Wings all they want. We'll be that much more surprising when we play the next team.
