If I were Wings president is............ 1. Reassign Holland 2. Bring in Yzerman as gm 3. Call and ask Ken Hitchcock if he is truly going to retire 4. Call Gerard Gallant and gage interest

If I was Holland I would stop dancing and flat out say "We are going into a rebuild. We think we have some nice players and our focus is now on finding pieces & parts to fit around them." Not many fans want to hear it. It takes 4-6 years. But, heading into a new arena with this team would be a HUGE mistake!

Kindl & Ericsson have been inconsistant. Otherwise the defense is looking better.

Power forward David Clarkson would be a great addition to the Wings. He scored 30 goals in '11-'12 & followed it up with 15 in '13. He plays punishing defense and could be the big free agent the Wings didn't get last Summer.

So the Wings have beaten Philly, Boston, & Columbus. Boston being a heavy weight. But, for a young team trying to figure some things out it's not a bad stretch at all. I like the defense & the powerplay kill. I have litte question they will get the rest going. All in all I'm pretty happy

A few notes: Wings played well early then held on. 3rd line still a work in progress CBJ not a playoff team Wings seem to play the good teams much harder. -
