This may be the best coaching job he's done. The moves he has made through the whole playoffs have been perfect. He demands alot from his players and they love the guy. He is coaching circles around the Blackhawks Quenneville. To the point it doesn't look like the Blackhawks belong on the ice with the Wings. Babcock dare I say coach of the year?

When I don't like who's calling the game I mute the t.v. & turn the radio on. -
It happens to the best of 'em. Yzerman slowed down but that's when he truly became a better captain. I thought Zetterberg played his best game of the playoffs in game 2 yesterday.

Actually there is some truth in what the guy says. Until the Wings beat 'em they can talk trash. That will all change next season. Thes Wings are young -
To me what separates captains like Stevie Y. & Zetterberg is willing the team to win. Stevie Y left a tall task. He will the Wings to win. Gave out hits took hits. Got down to block shots. Helped all the lines in practice. Zetterberg is a good captain. When he does what Yzerman did day in & day out he'll be a great capitain.

The defense was horrable. Break downs left & right. Honestly the Wings were forunate to only give up 4. The flat out left Howard out to dry a few times. -
Cleary's roster spot would be better filled with someone eles next season. Even when he's healthy he average at best.

The defense must be tighter. Lines don't matter. The production has been there. Let's remember this is a young Wings team. It's good for them to go through this.

I can't even come close to stateing how awsome it was the Wings didn't allow a goal on "The" 5 on 3. What a moment! That in my humble opinion was THE backbreaker in the series. Yes the Pens came back and won a game. But, I don't think they ever got over that moment. It will go down as Stanley Cup folklure. Just breath-taking.

I think the only reason NBC covered the games was because of the teams playing. The Wings have fans all over the country and the Pens aren't a bad young team.

The problem is the NHL likes to shoot its self in the foot. They could work a deal out with ESPn but they don't. I really think their ticked at the NHL for going to vs.

For the record I have never said trade Ozzie. He isn't the problem. The problem has been the guy's playing (or trying) to play defense in front of him. Other than the Avs game last night the defense has hung him out to dry with no help what-so-ever in front of him. Simply put you can't do that to your netminder.

Greatmatch up in goal! I think the Wings get back to their winning ways. They've had a few days off and should be rested.

Fedorov yes. McCarty no. Why? Because Illitch is up there in years. He has built the Wings & Tigers into championship teams. I think he wants to win both the Stanley cup & World series in the same year. Many people (the media) are all on board with Feds coming back because they know he can still play and play well and play both ways. McCarty is done. I hate to say it but he is. -
Yeah I wash my Wings & Tigers jersey's all the time. But, I hang 'em up to dry.

Living in Columbus, I can tell you that's it being reported the Blue Jackets will be buyers for the first time in their life. I guess every dog truley has their day.

I think a couple of things: 1. The power play has gone South. Sure they had one vs. the Ducks but, man it's been bad. 2. they aren't moving the puck around like they have before the all-star break. 3. Their banged up. I hate excuesses. But, it's the truth.
