The way I see it is the Wings need both a scorer and a defensive help. In Fedorov they get both. I relize he can't play both at the same time. But, as I stated before he has played both in games for the Jackets. The fact is Holland will make 2 trades from all I'm hearing. As banged up as the Wings are right now a guy like Feds makes since because he gives you both offense & defense.

Jarr would be great as a Wing. The Rangers have long wanted defensive help. But, the Wings can't afford to trade away defens for 1 player. Holland isn't that stupid. He'll make a trade or 2 that will make a splash. The Wings will win it all. Mark my words.

It's games like this when you find out what your made of. The Wings have been beat up and not played well. So, will they crumble? I don't think so. The good teams find a way to win. I say Wings 3 Ducks 2.

think if the Wings get Blake and a guy like Zherdev (Blue Jackets) they will lift the cup. But, they must address the power play (or lack there of) and defensive holes that have showed the past 3-4 games.

A guy not linked to the Wings (at least I don't think he is) should be Nikolai Zherdev Blue Jackets. Often called a selfish player this guy has been lights out ever since being yelled at by Hitchcock. His defense and skating are among the best not to mention his passing. The Jackets are looking for defensive help as are the Wings. The Wings will get both a 2ond liner and a defesive player. This is an endless list. If a player makes a name for himself on the first team he plays for than that's what I remember most. It's like in the NFL Joe Montana Chiefs? No! Joe Montana 49ers.

When the Jackets first asked him to play defense he wasn't sure and really didn't think it would work. But, I'll tell ya what it has. Not only that but he's played defense and wing in games and rotates also.

Let's hope the Wings can get the cotton pickin' power play cranked up. It's been a thorn in their side for a while now.

Ill tell ya what. He's played a ton of defense for the Jackets. He'a actually turned into a solid d-player. He gets alot of turn overs and isn't afraid to check. He could help the Wings.

Hello all, newbie here. I live in Columbus, Ohio and Fed's is my favorite Wing. Yes, I know he plays for the Blue Jackets. I also know he lives in the condo's right next to the Church we attend. He's a fan favorite here.
